Sverige är fantastiskt på sommaren, hela dygnet lever. Även om man av skilda skäl måste hålla sig inomhus, så tränger sig sommarnatten och naturen på. Så här såg det ut strax före kl 23 häromkvällen, sol och regn om vartannat.
Sweden is fantastic in the summer, alive 24 hours a day. Even if you for different reasons have to stay indoors, the summer night and the nature comes close. This is how it looked the other night shortly before 11 PM, sun and rain alternating.
I vårt övergivna hus i viken har vi haft vattenläckage. Ett par arbetsbyxor som hade fallit till golvet dränktes mer eller mindre. Plötsligt hade vi en kantarellodling! Eller…?
In our deserted house in the bay we have had a water leakage. A pair of workingpants that had been dropped on the floor were more or less drowned. All of a sudden we had a chanterelle cultivation. Or…?
Varit borta härifrån ett tag igen. Därför är detta lite historia redan.
Been away from this for a while. Therefore this is a little bit of history already.
Sigge snickrar inte bara i egna hemmet. Släkt och vänner ber ibland om hjälp. Bland annat en trappa i föräldrarnas stuga och en spång som går till kompisarnas stuga.
Sigge carpenters not only in the own house. Relatives and friends sometimes ask for help. Among other things a staircase in the parents’ cottage and a bridge to the buddies’ cottage.
Sommaren försvinner, minnena finns kvar. Ångermanland, foppatoffelns förlovade land. Fast dessa är förstås kopior köpta till det facila priset om ca 50 kr på Dollar Store, i sann Kramforsanda.
Summer disappears, memories remain. Ångermanland province, the promised land of the foppa slipper. Although these are copies of course, bought to the reasonable price of about $5 at Dollar Store, in the true spirit of Kramfors.
En sen afton for Sigge, John, Urban och Fredrik och fiskade i en bäck. Äventyret startade med punktering mitt i skogen. Som tur var fanns Andreas i närheten och kunde komma och hjälpa till. Författaren av detta har fortfarande inte sett resultatet av fisket.
One late night Sigge, John, Urban and Fredrik went fishing in a creek. The adventure started with a flat tire in the middle of the forest. Luckily Andreas was near by and could come an help. The author of this still hasn’t seen any result from the fishing.
Vattnet är grunt vid vårt hus. Det kräver vissa egenskaper av en båt. Nu har vi ett gulligt litet underverk som klarar både att segla och gå för motor med samma glada humör.
The water is shallow by our house. That demands certain qualities in a boat. Now we have a cute little miracle that manages both to sail and to go by motor in the same happy mood.

Äntligen semester! Liksom katten Fido tillbringar vi mycket tid på klipporna i eftermiddagssolen.
Vacation at last! Like Fido the cat we spend much time on the cliffs in the afternoon sun.
Häromkvällen kom Sigges barndoms-/ungdomsvänner på besök: Per-Anders och Carina och broder Lars-Göran. Vi hade en mycket trevlig kväll som förstås startade på klipporna, vårt andra vardagsrum.
The other night Sigge’s friends of his childhood/youth came visiting: Per-Anders and Carina and brother Lars-Göran. We had a very nice evening which of course started at the cliffs, our second living room.
