Dags för flytspackel. Den kom i säckar med en stor lastbil, som vi inte var säkra på att den skulle få plats på vår smala uppfart. Men chauffören visste uppenbarligen vad han gjorde. Alla golv är nu jämna och fina. Det gick åt drygt tre ton flytspackel.

Time for floating putty. It came in sacks with a large truck, which we weren’t sure would fit in our narrow driveway. But the driver obviously knew what he was doing. All floors are now smooth and nice. It took just over three tons of floating putty.

Blommorna flyttar inomhus/The flowers move inside

Det börjar bli kallt ute, så alla våra palettblad och de få pelargoner vi har måste få komma inomhus. Allt får inte plats så vi har gett bort en del. Trots det har vi fönstren fulla med blommor nu. Nästa år får de flytta ut igen.

It’s getting cold outside, so all our coleus and the few geraniums we have need to come indoors. There isn’t room for all of them, so we’ve given some away. Even so, we have the windows full of flowers now. Next year they can move out again.

Palettblad i stora krukor.
Först kom palettbladen in i stora krukor tillsammans med några till stora växter. De tog väldigt mycket plats. First, the coleus went into large pots along with some more large plants. They took up a lot of space.
Stora blomkrukor.
Som sagt de tar väldigt mycket plats. Och ännu mer plats tar krukan med ros och silverek. As said, they take up a lot of space. And even more space is taken up by the pot with rose and silver oak.
Omplantering.
Så vi tänkte ändrade oss och tog mest sticklingar i stället i mindre krukor som får plats i fönstren. So we changed our mind and took mostly cuttings instead in smaller pots that fit in the windows.

Till sist blev det 18 krukor med 3–4 sticklingar i varje, plus en stor kruka med växten som den är. In the end, there were 18 pots with 3–4 cuttings in each, plus a large pot with the plant as it is.

Palettblad, paprika och chili, citronträd.
Stora plantan och framför den ett par plantor med paprika och chili (som vi inte vill slänga) plus det enda av våra citronträd som vi har kvar. The big plant and in front of it a couple of pepper and chilli plants (which we don’t want to throw away) plus the only one of our lemon trees that we have left.
