Vi hade egentligen en helt annan orsak till att besöka Svanö, men passade på att titta på det fina monumentet över bygdens son Birger Norman som är rest där. Den som vill veta mer om honom tittar in på Birger Norman-sällskapets webbplats.

Monumentet ”Sånger vid floden” invigdes 2014 och är ett samarbete mellan konstnären Mats de Vahl och Birger Norman-sällskapet. The monument ”Songs by the River” was inaugurated in 2014 and is a collaboration between the artist Mats de Vahl and the Birger Norman society.
