Med så varmt och fint väder kunde vi inte ge upp tanken på att grilla, även om vi inte hittade en plats på något berg. Vi valde Gäddtjärn till sist, sjöutsikt istället för bergsutsikt till korven.
With such warm and nice weather we could not give up the idea of BBQ, even though we didn’t find a place on any mountain. We chose Gäddtjärn at last, lake view instead of mountain view to go with the sausage.
Man ska aldrig ge upp. Till sist blev det lite sommar – väl sent men bättre sent än aldrig. Blommorna har fått lite fart och det gick till och med att grilla denna afton!
One should never give up. Finally, it became summer a little – a bit too late, but better late than never. The flowers have gained some momentum and we could even BBQ this evening!
Häromkvällen hölls sommarens första grill- och trubadurafton på Hotell Kramm. Och vi var där! Det har aldrig hänt förut. Trevligt var det och framför allt var spelemannen Sam Younis väl värd besöket.
The other night the first summer barbecue and troubadour evening took place at Hotel Kramm. And we were there! That has never happened before. It was nice and, above all, the musician Sam Younis was well worth the visit.
Efter långt om länge… I början av april var vi hembjudna till grannarna ett par hus längre ned på gatan, till en opretentiös grillafton. George (t h om Sigge) och alla hans barn med anhöriga tog emot oss med öppna armar (några, bl a fru Despina, saknas på bilden). En riktigt trevlig kväll!
At long last … In early April we were invited to our neighbors’ home a few houses further down the street, to an unpretentious barbecue evening. George (to the right of Sigge) and all of his children with relatives (some missing in the picture, e g George’s wife Despina) received us with open arms. A really nice evening!
