Dagbarnet Tycho ser till att vi kommer ut och promenerar även under veckorna. Han får uppleva en hel del saker som är nya och spännande för honom, till exempel stora vatten.
The daycare child Tycho makes sure that we get out and walk even during the weeks. He gets to experience a lot of things that are new and exciting to him, such as big waters.
Ibland blir vi lite maniska när det gäller svamp. Vi ger oss ut och plockar fast vi inte vet vad vi ska göra av all svamp. Barn och barnbarn får ta emot en hel del. Inte desto mindre gav vi oss iväg på en ny jakt, till ett gammalt välkänt ställe. Även där ett hygge sedan något år men det finns ändå en del att hämta där. Och utsikten är inte fel.
Sometimes we get a little manic when it comes to mushrooms. We go out and pick them even though we don’t know what to do with all the mushrooms. Children and grandchildren get to receive a lot. Nevertheless, we set off on a new hunt, to an old well-known place. There too is a clearing since a year or so but there is still a lot to pick there. And the view is not wrong.
Vi tog en tripp till förra ¨årets bästa svampställe, i förhoppningen om att hitta lika mycket i år som i fjol. Det blev en chock att komma dit. Hela svampskogen var nerhuggen, inte en enda liten svampstackare gick att detektera i bråten. Men skam den som ger sig. Vi klättrade upp för berget och nådde några andra kända svampställen så dagen blev rätt lyckad ändå.
We took a trip to last year’s best mushroom place, in the hope of finding as much this year as last year. It was a shock to get there. The whole mushroom forest was cut down, not a single poor little mushroom could be detected in the rubble. But shame on the one who gives up. We climbed the mountain and reached some other wellknown mushroom places so the day was quite successful anyway.
Vi tänkte att vi skulle plocka hjortron för första gången och gav oss iväg mot hjortronmyrarna. Men på vägen passerade vi ett ställe där det uppenbarligen fanns professionella plockare. Så resultatet blev noll.
We thought we were going to pick cloudberries for the first time and set off towards the cloudberry marshes. But on the way we passed a place where there were obviously professional pickers. So the result was zero.
När det är sommar och varmt så SKA man bada, helst flera gånger om dagen. Så tillbaka från badsjön ordnades en egen liten pool på altanen. Perfekt sysselsättning för Ebba och Ludvig. Lite senare kom dagbarnet Tycho på besök och det var naturligtvis jättespännande.
When it is summer and hot, you SHOULD swim, preferably several times a day. So back from the swimming lake, a small pool was arranged on the terrace. Perfect employment for Ebba and Ludvig. A little later, the daycare child Tycho came to visit and that was of course very exciting.
Vi behövde lite motion och bestämde oss för att ta med dagbarnet Tycho till Latbergsstugan, för att även han skulle få röra på sig lite mer än vanligt. Han har varit där förut, och det märktes.
We needed some exercise and decided to take the daycare child Tycho to Latbergsstugan, so that he too could move around a little more than usual. He has been there before, which you could tell.
Till sist och äntligen har vi ordnat till altanen så den nästan ser ut som den brukar på sommaren. Lite färre blommor än vanligt, men det får vi stå ut med. Vi hoppas att våra pelargoner ska frodas och fylla ut tomrummen.
Finally and at last, we have arranged the terrace so it almost looks like it usually does in the summer. A little less flowers than usual, but we have to stand that. We hope that our geraniums will flourish and fill the gaps.
Nu har vi börjat få ordning på alla pelargonerna som ska sättas ut i sina stora bunkar och kar. Det tog lite tid, men de har klarat sig mycket bättre än väntat. I vanliga fall brukar de se rätt trötta ut efter omplantering, men inte den här gången. Nu är det bara resten kvar…
Now we have started to get all the geraniums in order to be put out in their large bowls and tubs. It took some time, but they have done much better than expected. In normal cases, they usually look quite tired after replanting, but not this time. Now there is only the rest left…
Sigge tog med sig dagbarnet till Hälsostugan på Latberget, en ganska lagom promenad för en liten hund. Väl där fick han titta på utsikten över Kramfors som är riktigt fin. Det är förstås svårt att veta om han uppskattade utsikten mer än promenaden, troligen inte.
Sigge took the day care child to Hälsostugan on Latberget, a fairly suitable walk for a small dog. Once there, he got to look at the view of Kramfors which is really nice. Of course, it is difficult to know if he appreciated the view more than the walk, probably not.
Våra nya grannar har skaffat sig en liten lapphundsvalp som heter Tycho. Han behöver passning om dagarna, när matte jobbar och husse går i skolan. Så varje morgon hämtar vi honom och tar hand om honom, går ut med honom och gör allt det där man gör med små hundar. Han verkar gilla oss.
Our new neighbors have acquired a small Lapland dog puppy named Tycho. He needs care during the day, when his mistress works and his master goes to school. So every morning we pick him up and take care of him, go out with him and do everything you do with small dogs. He seems to like us.
