Ylva åkte tillsammans med arbetskamraterna till Sundborn och Carl Larsson-gården för en kombinerad personal- och konferensresa. Första dagens innehöll besök på Carl Larsson-gården med omnejd. Tyvärr var det inte tillåtet att fotografera inne i själva huset. Efter övernattning i Falun fylldes hela andra dagen av konferens.

Konstnärsparet Carl och Karin Larsson fick gården Lilla Hyttnäs av Karins far 1888. En liten timrad stuga byggd 1837, som Carl och Karin tillsammans förvandlar till ett världsberömt konstnärshem. Allt eftersom familjen växte och Carls uppdrag krävde större utrymme byggde de ut och förändrade Lilla Hyttnäs. De utgick från gammal svensk byggnadskultur, influerades av internationella strömningar och blandade olika stilar och konstnärliga uttryck. Ylva went with her colleagues to Sundborn and the Carl Larsson house for a combined staff and conference trip. The first day included a visit to the Carl Larsson house and surroundings. Unfortunately, it was not allowed to photograph inside the house itself. After an overnight stay in Falun, the entire second day was filled with conferences.

The artists Carl and Karin Larsson received the property Lilla Hyttnäs from Karin’s father in 1888. A small timbered cottage built in 1837 that Carl and Karin transformed into at worlds famous artist home. As the family grew and Carl’s work required more space, Lilla Hyttnäs, was extended and altered. Carl and Karin were guided by traditional Swedish building culture and also influenced by international trends and they mixed different styles and artistic impressions. We passed Sundborn’s church on our way to Carl Larsson’s portrait collection in the parish hall. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go inside.
