Vårt andra mål i årets Vandringstipset var en ny plats för oss: fågelfångstanläggningen utefter Kyrkstigen i Styrnäs. Många stopp på vägen upp, med föredömliga informationsskyltar. Själva målet, fågelfångstanläggningen, var inte jättespännande att se, men vi fick vår kod och gick neråt igen. På vägen stannade vi till vid rastplatsen på Åskottsberget där vi enligt uppgift skulle se ut över en av Ådalens vackraste utsikter. Det gjorde vi inte – den doldes av tät skog. Vi kunde också konstatera att det är myggår i år.
Our second goal in this year’s Hiking tips was a new place for us: the bird-catching facility along the Church Trail in Styrnäs. Many stops on the way up, with exemplary information signs. The target itself, the bird-catching facility, was not very exciting to see, but we got our code and went down again. On the way we stopped at the resting point at Mt. Åskottsberget where we were supposed to look over one of Ådalens most beautiful views. We didn’t – it was hidden by dense forest. We also could establish that this year is a mosquito year.
